Unobstructed ocean views from this 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath architecturally designed, Will Winkleman home converted from a WWII observation tower. Boasts fine materials such as bamboo flooring, IPE decking, kitchen with granite & stainless, cement & recycled glass vanity tops, custom tiled showers & hardi-plank siding, to name a few. An addition that captures the southerly daylight which bounces light into the main structure with the use of polycarbonate panels to diffuse daylight as well as add privacy. The natural finished pine framing warms up the original concrete structure. This design was formed to direct as much early and late (east and west) daylight into the house as possible. Louvers on the extreme west edge of the front porch were made translucent to glow and reveal Westerly daylight as well as canted for breezes and view.
